CAD support

The CAD systems team manage and support Bentley, Autodesk and Solidworks across TfL. This page provides information and guidance for organisations working for us and providing CAD data as part of digital design and handover.

Enquiries

Support is provided 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday.

If you are unable to access or use your CAD software (including Bentley ProjectWise or Autodesk Docs), email SMBCADSupportTeam@tfl.gov.uk.

General requests

For miscellaneous CAD issues such as freeing files, creating new plot queues, raise a CAD Miscellaneous Request.

Services

Ordnance Survey (OS) tile mapping requests

We are licensed to share OS maps with third parties. In order to do so all parties have to adhere to the OS agreement. We can't provide the maps without this.

TfL CAD support can only deliver the OS MasterMap CAD 1km tiles. Other products can be sourced through the Public Sector Mapping Agreement (PSMA) license holder.

Once complete TfL will formally issue the OS title that has been requested.
