Elizabeth line stations

New stations in central London

The new Elizabeth line stations are easy to navigate and accessible for everyone.

Each station has its own, distinct character, conceived by different architects to reflect the environment and heritage of the local area.

Yet they all share the same features at platform level that give customers a consistent experience, such as:

  • Platform edge screens - a safety barrier that helps to keep the platform cool and provides lighting, signs, speakers and CCTV
  • Passenger information above each door - showing departing services
  • Signs designed to be easily legible, with clear, accessible language helped by symbols
  • Newly-designed seating

In the areas outside stations, features such as forecourts, plazas and wider pavements create pedestrian friendly, accessible spaces.
