Events and attractions
- Tickets for the New Year's Eve fireworks display in central London are sold out
- Do not come to the fireworks display without a ticket, as you will not be allowed entry.

Closures in central London
- To support the New Year's Eve fireworks display, there will be road closures in central London from early afternoon, with buses on diversion
- From 14:00, some bridges in central London will be closed to traffic
- If you need to cross the river in central London while bridges are closed, use Tube services, which will run all night

- From 23:30 on New Year's Eve until 02:00 on New Year's Day some stations near to the London New Year's Eve fireworks event or in other busy areas may become exit or interchange only at short notice
- Westminster and Chalk Farm Station will close at 21:30 for crowd control measures and will reopen when safe to do so

- There may be an extra charge for private hire vehicles (including minicabs) - check when you book

- National rail services will be subject to some changes. Plan ahead and check before you travel on the National Rail website
- Any TfL services not listed on this page are operating a Saturday service today
Driving and paying to drive
- Waterloo Bridge will be closed to traffic from 19:00 and Westminster Bridge from 14:00
- Other bridges in central London may close by early afternoon
- The Congestion Charge does not operate today - you don't need to pay
- You may have to pay the ULEZ or LEZ if your vehicle doesn't meet emissions standards
