Bus changes
Fixed stops introduced on route 336 from Saturday 7 December
From first bus on Saturday 7 December fixed bus stops will be introduced along all the current hail and ride sections of route 336.
Fixed bus stops will be introduced along Canadian Avenue, Fordmill Road and Brookehowse Road in the Bellingham area and along Church Down and Downderry Road in the Downham area. Buses will only pick up and set down at the fixed stops along these roads from this date.

Change to buses from Saturday 7 December 2024
"24 hour route" 88 will have a new timetable at all times of the week with minor changes to times. Additional buses will be introduced between 0500 and 1000 on Sundays increasing the frequency during this time to a bus every 12 minutes. No change to frequency at any other time.
Route 98 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with increases to the frequency at certain times. The early morning frequency will increase on Monday to Fridays with buses running every 7-8 minutes from first bus and every 10 minutes after 2030 in the evening. On Saturdays route 98 will be increased to a bus every 10 minutes before 0730 and similar after 1930 in the evening. On Sundays route 98 will be increased to a bus every 10 minutes after 1830 in the evening. Route 98 will continue to run every 7-8 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturday and every 10 minutes during the daytime on Sundays.
Route 170 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.
Route 218 will have a new timetable at all times of the week with minor changes to times. Additional buses will be introduced before 0700 on Sunday mornings increasing the frequency during this time to a bus every 15 minutes. No change to the frequency at any other time.
Route 220 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.
Route 266 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.
Route 355 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.
Route 360 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.
Route N98 will have a new timetable on all nights of the week with minor changes to times.
Route N266 will have a new timetable on all nights of the week with minor changes to times.

New stops introduced on route SL2 from Saturday 16 November 2024
Superloop route SL2 is now serving a new bus stop on Royal Docks Road towards North Woolwich.
The bus stop is located on Royal Docks Road to the south of the junction with Armada Way and provides access to the eastern area of Beckton as well as to the retail park at Gallions Reach.
Buses are currently serving this location towards North Woolwich only due to gas main works stopping the opening of the northbound bus stop. Route SL2 will start serving this location towards Walthamstow Central from Wednesday 4 December 2024 which is when the gas main works are due to finish.

Cromwell Road Bus Station, Kingston, Reopens 16 November 2024
Cromwell Road Bus Station in Kingston has now reopened following a rebuild to improve accessibility, safety and the customer experience.
Bus routes 57, 65, 71, 85, 111, 131, 213, 216, 281, 285, 371, 406, 411, 418, 465, 481, K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, N65, N87 and SL7 are now serving the bus station.
The new bus station includes new real time travel information screens and a fully accessible customer toilet. Safety improvements include enhanced LED lighting and CCTV in and around the station, a wider passenger island with more space for customers waiting and moving around the bus station and a new PA system.

Walthamstow bus station closed until Saturday 21 December 2024
During essential safety work in the bus station please use alternative nearby stops and take care when crossing roads.
Routes 34, 55, 69, 212, 215, 230, 275, SL1, SL2, W12, W15, W19, N26, N38, N73 will not stop in the bus station but will call at alternative stops near to the bus station.
Routes 20 and 257 will terminate at Leyton Green
Route 58 will terminate at Markhouse Corner
Route 212 will terminate at Walthamstow Central and not serve St James Street
Route W11 will terminate at Walthamstow Market
The Tube station exit into the bus station and the lift will also be closed.
- To change between buses and Victoria line - use the exit via London Overground Platform 2. There are about 30 stairs
- To change between buses and Victoria line avoiding stairs - use bus route 230 between Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow
