Thank you for your request of 1st November 2021, clarified on 8th November 2021, asking for information about TfL road and traffic schemes.
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

Specifically you asked:

Highways - Road & Traffic Schemes: Please can you provide a list of all current and proposed within the Council's jurisdiction.”

And;

Specifically we are looking for the following:-
 
  • New Trunk road or special roads being built
  • Any alterations or improvements to an An Existing Road Involving Construction Of A Subway, Underpass, Flyover, Footbridge, Elevated Road Or Dual Carriageway
  • Construction Works For A Proposed Alteration Or Improvement To An Existing Road Involving:- (I) Construction Of A Roundabout (Other Than A Mini Roundabout), Or (Ii) Widening By Construction Of One Or More Additional Traffic Lanes
  • Construction Of A New Road To Be Built By A Local Authority, (Ii) An Approved Alteration Or Improvement To An Existing Road Involving Construction Of A Subway, Underpass, Flyover, Footbridge, Elevated Road Or Dual Carriageway, (Iii) Construction Of A Roundabout (Other Than A Mini Roundabout) Or Widening By Construction Of One Or More Additional Traffic Lanes
  • Proposed Route Of A New Road Under Proposals Published For Public Consultation
  • Construction Of A Proposed Alteration Or Improvement To An Existing Road Involving Construction Of A Subway, Underpass, Flyover, Footbridge, Elevated Road Or Dual Carriageway (Ii) Construction Of A Roundabout (Other Than A Mini Roundabout) (Iii) Widening By Construction Of One Or More Additional Traffic Lanes, Under Proposals Published For Public Consultation
  • Permanent Stopping Up or Diversion
  • Waiting or Loading Restrictions
  • One Way Driving
  • Prohibition of Driving
  • Pedestrianisation
  • Vehicle width or weight restriction
  • Traffic calming works
  • Parking controls
  • Minor road widening or improvement
  • Pedestrian crossing
  • Cycle tracks
  • Bridge Building”

I can confirm that we hold the information you require. However, under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act TfL is not required to provide information where it would cost more than £450 to determine if the information is held, and to then locate, retrieve or extract that information from elsewhere. This is calculated at a rate of £25 per hour, equivalent to 18 hours work. In this case there is no quick or efficient way of sourcing all of the information that falls within the scope of your request. There is no single team that holds the information requested, and to source it all would require the input of multiple individuals across multiple areas. We do not believe that this is feasible within the costs limit.

You may therefore wish to narrow the scope of your request to focus on the information that is of most importance to you - for example, by focussing on a specific scheme or area.
