Red routes

London's red routes form a network of major roads that make up 5% of the roads, but carry up to 30% of the city's traffic. If you don't follow the signs and road markings, we may issue you with a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).

Pay a penalty

Where are the red routes?

Use the maps to see if a red route is on your journey

Rules of the red routes

Signs and road markings tell you what you can and can't do.

Parking dispensations

We can occasionally relax the parking rules but you need permission first
