Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on16 August 2023 asking for information about SL7 buses (formerly known as X26 buses).

Specifically you asked:

The rebranding and frequency increase of the SL7 buses is currently being funded by TfL. This is part of the Superloop Bus initiative launched by the Mayor of London. Heathrow Airport is not contributing toward this cost.
Also will the buses being used for the x26/SL7 increase be given luggage racks or will these be installed on any future vehicles after the re-tender?”
