Thank you for your request received on 24 July 2024 asking for information about the rebranding of Old Street to Fold Street. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked for: Can you tell me how many complaints you have received regarding the rebranding of Old Street to Fold Street and Bond Street to Burberry Street. Information on the number of complaints received regarding the rebranding of Bond Street was provided in response to a previous FOI request: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/transparency/freedom-of-information/foi-request-detail?referenceId=FOI-2122-2324 These activations attract a lot of attention from social media and our customers and become a talking point. Up to the date of your request our Customer Contact Centre had not received any complaints. Following the activation of Burberry Street and Fold Street we have been contacted by Transport for All regarding each of the campaigns. Can you tell me if you have had complaints from disability charities, and if so which ones? Following the Burberry Street activation we were contacted by Transport for All who requested a meeting to discuss their concerns with the campaign. We also met with passenger watchdog, London TravelWatch. In response to the Fold Street activation, Transport for All requested a meeting to raise their concerns regarding the campaign. We provided Transport for All with further information on how we assessed the impact of this activation from an equality and inclusion perspective. TfL always learns from previous campaigns and we continue to discuss this with them so we can build on our previous lessons learnt for activations of this nature in the future. Can you tell me how much money advertisers paid to TFL for the rebranding? Information on how much we received from the sponsorship of Bond Street was provided in response to a previous FOI request: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/transparency/freedom-of-information/foi-request-detail?referenceId=FOI-2077-2324 We received £250k (plus VAT) for the sponsorship of Old Street.
