Amendments and refunds for LEZ charges

Charge amendments

You can ask to change the start date of a LEZ charge, the vehicle, or both the start date and vehicle.

You can only change the start date of a charge if it starts today or on a future date, You can't amend charges for any dates in the past.

To apply for an amendment you will need the:

  • Number plate (Vehicle Registration Mark)
  • Receipt number and the charge start date of the charge you want to amend

Refunds

If you decide not to use your vehicle in the LEZ you can request a refund of the charge as long as you apply either on the day of travel or before it.

We don't refund charges for dates in the past.

To request a refund you will need the:

  • Number plate (Vehicle Registration Mark)
  • Receipt number and charge start date for the charge you want refunded
