Dart Charge

Paying one will not pay for the other.

Drivers using the Dartford Crossing need to pay the Dart Charge in advance or by midnight the day after crossing. Pay online or by phone, post or at retail outlets. It is still free to use the crossing 22:00 to 06:00.

The Dart Charge only applies to the Dartford Crossing, it does not cover other charges such as the Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels charge, the Congestion Charge, or any other London driving charges.

Auto Pay

Auto Pay is the easiest way to pay for TfL driving charges like Congestion Charge (CC), Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels charge, Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) and LEZ (Low Emission Zone). Auto Pay covers TfL driving schemes only - it does not cover the Dart Charge, which you can pay separately through the gov.uk Dart Charge payment service.
