Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:
 
  1. How many people work in your FOI team (or team responsible for dealing with FOI requests)?

Ten.
 
  1. What is the grade/salary band of the most senior person who writes FOI responses? (i.e. what grade are they and what salary range covers this grade)

Band 2 (31,250 – 48,000).
 
  1. What is the grade/salary band of the most senior person who writes internal review responses?

Band 3 (47,750 – 74,750).
 
  1. What is the grade/salary band of the most senior person who writes submissions for the ICO?

Band 3 (As above).
 
  1. What is the grade/salary band of the manager of the FOI team?

Band 3 (As above).
 
  1. In 2023, 2022 and 2021 respectively how many FOI and EIR requests did you deal with?
