I would like to request the information held on the effect of opening the core section of Crossrail is considered to have had on usage of individual London Underground lines, London Buses, and the quantum of private vehicle journeys on the road network.
Could you detail how many journeys on whole_Crossrail are estimated as generated or induced, following opening of the core.

Thank you for your email which we received on 17 March 2023, asking for information about passenger journey numbers. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm TfL holds some of the information you require.
The Elizabeth Line has seen more than one hundred million journeys since its opening in May 2022. Ridership on the line is currently above expected levels with around 600,000 journeys made each day.
