Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 28 March 2022 asking for information about the number of our bus shelters that are connected to the National Grid.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. We have 11,136 bus shelters which are owned by TfL on the national grid.   Please note that excluded from this list are shelters which are powered but purposely not lit and also temporarily not lit.
