FOI request detail

Traffic issues

Request ID: FOI-2966-2425
Date published: 29 January 2025

You asked

In February 2024 the Mayor agreed, at Mayor’s question time, to a meeting with residents of Tolworth Road and TfL regarding traffic issues in our area, including the junction of the A3 and Fullers Way North in Tolworth. I would like to see all correspondence related to two cases: * MGLA240524-4215 and * MGLA280324-9802 This would also include any correspondence between Catharine McEwan and the Royal Borough of Kingston (RBK) as well as any other TfL staff / officers and RBK. Included in this request is any meeting minutes or presentations, or data, pertaining to this area and this promise of a meeting between TfL and RBK.

We answered

TfL Ref: FOI-2966-2425

Thank you for your request which we received on 16 December 2024, asking for information about correspondence.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (EIRs) and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.

Please find attached the emails that we hold with reference to the correspondence cases MGLA240524-4215 and MGLA280324-9802.

Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under the Data Protection legislation some personal data has been removed, as required by Regulation 13 of the Environmental Information Regulations. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle of the legislation, which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions of Schedule 2 which would make the processing ‘fair’.

The Royal Borough of Kingston (RBK) shared their recent traffic surveys with us, which we will discuss with them in the coming weeks. Please find the traffic surveys attached.

We don’t hold any minutes or presentations for any meetings.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely
