We are currently doing a project on trends within urban transport and would like to know annual passenger numbers and trends from 2015 to today on the London Underground Network:
- how many people tap in with Oyster cards, bank cards and phones (individually, and in total)?
- how many people use paper tickets?

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. Unfortunately we don’t hold the specific information you asked for.
We are currently doing a project on trends within urban transport and would like to know annual passenger numbers and trends from 2015 to today on the London Underground Network: - how many people tap in with Oyster cards, bank cards and phones (individually, and in total)? - how many people use paper tickets?
We don’t collect information on individuals, including their own personal mix of ticketing products used. However we do produce some statistics on travel trends. All the information we hold on this is available on the TfL website here. Please scroll down to ‘Ticketing reports’.
