We answered

TfL Ref: FOI-2771-2324

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 2nd November 2023 asking for information about roadworks on Sloane Street.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked:

Please send me all relevant documents relating to the roadworks on Sloane Street, including documents explaining the purpose of the works and any documents explaining the balance of the advantage (if any) of the said works balanced against disruption caused by the said works.”

I am afraid that TfL does not hold the requested information as Sloane Street is not a part of the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN – sometimes known as the “red routes” – see here for more information including a map: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/red-routes). Rather, Sloane Street is under the management of the local authority, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. You may therefore wish to re-direct your request to that body. FOI requests to Kensington and Chelsea can be made via its website here:

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely,
