Can you please tell me the operating times for the bus gate on Blackwall Way near Blackwall DLR station please.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20th October 2023 asking for information about the bus gate on Blackwall Way near Blackwall DLR station. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“Can you please tell me the operating times for the bus gate on Blackwall Way near Blackwall DLR station please.”
It is not entirely certain which exact bus gate you are referring to. The bus gate that is actually on Blackwall Way itself is 24 hours, but the nearest station to that is East India DLR Station. The bus gate nearest to Blackwall DLR is at Ditchburn Street/Prestage Way, which again is (so far as we are aware) 24 hours. However, please note that TfL does not enforce bus gates and none of the roads mentioned are part of the Transport for London Rod Network (sometimes known as the ‘red routes’ – see here for more information: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/red-routes). Rather, they are managed by the local authority, Tower Hamlets council. You may wish to contact the council for any further information.
