A year ago, to aid a paper I was then writing, you provided me with the number of fatalities occurring in 2017 in the four TfL average speed pilot schemes, namely:
A40 between the Polish War Memorial and Paddington Slip Road
A406 North Circular Road, between Hanger Lane and Bounds Green Road
A316 between the M3 and Staveley Road
A2 between the Blackwall Tunnel and Dartford Heath
The TfL press officer, Claire Jermany subsequently let me have the fatality figures for the A13 scheme, namely:
A13 between Canning Town and the Goresbrook Interchange
I am sorry to trouble you again, but the paper has turned into a book, which I am now completing and updating.
To this end, I would be very grateful if you could provide me with the 2018 figures for fatalities on the roads covered by these five schemes.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
The information you have requested is published in csv data extract files on our website under Collision data extracts here:
By viewing the attendant file it’s possible to filter all fatal collisions for 2018 and view the location description. Geo-codes are provided if needed.
