I would like to request information that sets out: 1) The reasons that TfL CPOS are unable to enforce the Red Route loading bay outside Woolwich Reach, 2 Pier Road, E16 2ZE 2) Any information that sets out how/if this issue is being tracked and how it is being prioritised 3) Information pertaining to work that has been commissioned to resolve this 4) information you hold that sets out the expected timeframes and process of this work. 5) any information held by TfL confirming or denying that the loading bay is owned by TfL or is owned by Notting Hill Genesis Housing Association

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20th December 2022 asking for information about the Red Route loading bay outside Woolwich Reach, 2 Pier Road.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Your questions are answered in turn below:

Question 1) The reasons that TfL CPOS are unable to enforce the Red Route loading bay outside Woolwich Reach, 2 Pier Road, E16 2ZE?

Answer: TfL was unable to enforce the loading bay due to the necessary signage informing drivers of the restrictions not being in place. This has now been rectified, with a post and sign installed on 12th January 2023 (see photo attached). The loading bay is now fully enforceable.

Question 2) Any information that sets out how/if this issue is being tracked and how it is being prioritised?

Answer: See answer above - the issue has now been resolved.

Question 3) Information pertaining to work that has been commissioned to resolve this

Answer: See answer above and attached photo - the issue has now been resolved.

Question 4) information you hold that sets out the expected timeframes and process of this work.

Answer: A post and sign were installed on 12th January 2023.

Question 5) any information held by TfL confirming or denying that the loading bay is owned by TfL or is owned by Notting Hill Genesis Housing Association

Answer: The loading bay is owned by TfL and is situated on the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN, also known as the “red routes” - see here: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/red-routes).
