FOI request detail

Oyster data and train timetables

Request ID: FOI-2379-1617
Date published: 27 March 2017

You asked

We're making a research on how people in peak hours make their route choices depending on their predictions of overcrowding and on the real situation in the Underground. 1) We would like to get information like this https://data.london.gov.uk/dataset/oyster-card-journey-information but more recent one. (If it is possible - 2015 or 2016, if it's not - then the most recent one) 2) We would like to get timetables of train arrivals on London Underground for the year you could provide data on Oyster card journeys. 3) Do you have data on the quantity of people entering and exiting different stations of London Underground during peak and non-peak hours? Is it possible to get dwell time on different stations in order to calculate the quantity of people who could get in one train or maybe you have data on train capacity in peak/ non-peak hours? (this information also for the year you could provide data on Oyster card journeys)
