TfL Ref: FOI-2242-2021

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 5th February 2021 asking for information about road signs in Dulwich.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked for:

Locations of all signage (for motorists) detailing routes restricted to certain vehicles in Dulwich. In particular, 'DULWICH VILLAGE (NORTHBOUND) TOWARDS PICKWICK ROAD'.

I attach the material that TfL holds in relation your request. However, please note that this only relates to where signage has been amended (or proposed to be amended) in relation to the Transport for London “red route” road network (for more information on the Red Route network see our website here: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/red-routes - note that it accounts for only 5% of London’s roads). The majority of roads in London are under the management of the relevant local authority. Therefore, for definitive information on the roads in question you will need to address your question to Southwark Council, which is responsible for the roads in Dulwich Village. FOI requests to Southwark Council can be made via its website here:

https://www.southwark.gov.uk/council-and-democracy/freedom-of-information-and-data-protection/freedom-of-information-requests

If you are considering submitting a further FOI request to TfL please think carefully about whether the request is essential at this current time, as answering FOI requests will require the use of limited resources and the attention of staff who could be supporting other essential activity. Where requests are made, please note that our response time may be impacted by the current situation.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely,

David Wells
