You asked

Could you please provide a number of the deaths and serious injuries that have occurred within the roads stated in the attached 20mph speed limit proposal over the last 24 months.

Thank you for your email which we received on 14 September 2023, asking for information about incidents that occurred within roads with 20mph speed limit.  
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm TfL does hold the information you require.

Details of collision information provided to Transport for London by the police for the London area is available on our website here: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/road-safety.

Please refer to the Road Danger Reduction Dashboard which allows you to filter collisions by severity, date range, mode of travel, street speed limit and more. Page 4 should be particularly useful, details of how to use this function are available on the webpage if needed. By hovering over the collision map it is also possible to get a redacted description of how the collision occurred.
