Thank you for your emails received by us on 11 November 2022 asking for information about road collision data.
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:
 
1. How many people (all ages) were injured on London's roads in 2021?
 
2. How many of them died?
 
3. How many children were injured?
 
4. How many of the children died?
 
The information you asked for is available on our website using the following link to the road danger reduction dashboard, whereby location based collision data can be filtered by casualty type, severity, age, and year here: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/road-safety,
 
In the meantime, Vision Zero is at the heart of the Mayor’s Transport Strategy and reflects our fundamental belief that no death or serious injury on London’s road and transport network is acceptable or inevitable.
