Have also been trying to find data for average speeds on London’s roads but that has proved harder. Would you be able please to send me that - going back annually to 2000?

The Excel file “Travel in London – Report 10 data” XLSX (Chapter 6) contains the requested figures so far as we hold them (from September 2006 to December 2016).
