Dear TfL Can you please provide information on the cost of the TfL brand design, e.g. cost of creating the logo (most recent incarnation) and brand guidelines? How much did the brand process cost? Who is the supplier that is the brand guardian for TfL and how were they appointed, and what is the annual spend with this agency?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 31 August 2023 asking for information about TfL branding and marketing.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

TfL’s core branding is carried out by our internal design team with no external costs. The last time the core TfL brand was updated was in 2013 when we adopted the “Every Journey Matters’ strapline into our core branding.
