TfL Ref: FOI-1891-2021

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 19th December 2020 asking for information about Penalty Charge Notices issued in relation to contraventions of 52M on Browning Road, E12.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked:

Please provide data that would provide clear understanding of how many PCN's were issued on a monthly and weekly basis for the contravention 52M at Browning Rd E12 (North side) since relatively new prohibition was introduced.

I am afraid that TfL does not hold the requested information. TfL does not issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) in respect to Browning Road, E12. This road is not on the TfL managed “red route” network  of roads (https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/red-routes). Instead, any PCNs for 52M contraventions on this road will have been issued by the local authority, and so you will need to re-direct your enquiry to that body. FOI requests to Newham Council can be made via its website here:

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely,
