Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 24 August 2023 asking for information about Elizabeth line Platform Edge Doors (PEDs).

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked: Please could you provide information regarding the cost of Crossrail (Elizabeth Line) Platform Screen Door Contract C631.
Please provide as much detail as possible, including a detailed cost breakdown or nearest equivalent, of:
Actual final cost on contract completion
Original expected cost at contract award
Internal (CRL/TfL) contract management/administration costs
Projected/contracted annual maintenance cost
Cost of initial spares (spares provided as part of delivery contract)

The final cost was £85.1m. The difference equates to an additional £100/m on the £21,200/m unit rate giving £21,300/m.
