Under the FOI Act, can I request the how many mechanical lost miles were recorded on the London Underground due to tube train breakdown in each of the last 3 operational years?
I am unsure if 'mechanical lost miles' as used for buses is the same on the underground, but a similar figure would be useful.

Thank you for your request which we received on 8 August 2023, asking for the number of lost miles on the London Underground in the last 3 years.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You specifically asked:

The data you asked for is regularly published on the TfL website and can be downloaded from this page: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/underground-services-performance. This data is uploaded every period, with the detail of actual vs. scheduled kilometres operated, broken down by financial year, period and line. Unfortunately, we cannot break it down any further to be able to tell what amount of ‘lost kilometres’ was because of broken trains or any other reason.
