I would like to request the Transport for London to release to me the income figure (money) it has made from calls coming through 0343 222 4444 Taxi and Private Hire telephone number in the Fiscal Year 2019, Fiscal Year 2020 and Fiscal Year 2021 so far. To be clear, this is a premium number that members of the public dial to make their taxi licencing related enquires in the absence of online services/facilities.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 14 October 2021 asking for information about income from London Taxi and Private Hire Line 0343 222 4444.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
It is also worth noting that the 0343 222 4444 Taxi and Private Hire telephone number has not been operational since March 2020 when our offices were closed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
