Our ref: FOI-1438-2425
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 04 August 2024 asking for information on Operations officers.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require. You asked:
Hi, can you please confirm if there is a grading/band system in the TfL roles. If so what grade does the operations officer (better know as CPOS officer) fall under and the current salary range for this role. Is salary expected to increase annually every year? What has been the base salary's for the past 3 years?
In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere. Please see the answer to a similar request published on the FOI pages of our website via the following link, which provides the requested data: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/transparency/freedom-of-information/foi-request-detail?referenceId=FOI-2061-2324
Please note, the role of ‘Operations Officer’ is a fairly new role, therefore we do not have the three years of salary information which has been requested. The role was only recently updated to reflect the wide-ranging responsibility that the officers have.
Is there any performance related bonuses? Is there any premium rate for working on bank holidays and public holidays?
There are no performance related bonuses.
Public holiday rates do differ from the ‘unsociable hours’. For Bank Holiday working, the officers have a choice of:
- Time and a half and a day in lieu
- Double time (no day in lieu)
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely,
Tahsin Prima
