Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 8 September 2017 asking for a conflicts of interest register in relation to Taxi and Private Hire(TPH).

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our Information Access Policy. You asked:

Please can you supply me a copy of the current up to date TFL conflicts of interest register in relation to taxi and private hire division?

Please include all details - namely conflicts names dates and remedial activity involved to mitigate the risk of corruption.

We do not hold a central list of conflicts of interest in relation to TfL staff. Any conflicts of interest that arise during the course of their employment should be declared in accordance with the TfL Code of Conduct, which states:

Employees of TfL have a duty to declare any private interests relating to their public duties and to take steps to resolve any conflicts arising in a way that protects the public interest. Any conflict must be notified in writing to TfL and updated as appropriate.

For TfL Board Members, we publish all of their interests on the website.

https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/about-tfl/how-we-work/corporate-governance/board-members

Any Member with a declared interest will not receive papers that are exempt from publication. At the start of each meeting, Members are asked to declare any interests in relation to items on the agenda. Any Member declaring an interest will leave the meeting room during the discussion and decision on that item.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely,
