We answered

Our ref: FOI-0926-1920/GH

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 30 June 2019 asking for information about Uber.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.

I can advise that we do not hold the information you require. Operators are required to tell us about the volume of drivers and vehicles they have available to them on a weekly basis - but are not required to provide booking or trip information.

Booking records may be requested or checked as part of a complaint investigation or operator compliance inspection but they would only ever be about an individual trip or sample of bookings.

If you are aware of such problems occurring. we would suggest that you either submit a complaint to TfL which customer services will raise with Uber, or that you contact Uber directly to raise this issue.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
