Could you please tell me the proportion of buses per fuel type on each bus route passing South Wimbledon Station. So, what proportion of the buses used on these routes are diesel only, hybrid, electric, hydrogen (or any other classification you use)? The routes involved are 57, 152, 131, 219, 93 and N155.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 26 August 2020 asking for information about the fuel type of buses passing South Wimbledon tube station.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
All buses on routes 57, 93, 131, 152 and 219 are Diesel (single deck); all buses on route N155 are Diesel hybrid (double deck).
Virtually all buses in the fleet are at the Euro VI engine emission standard which reduces tailpipe emissions of oxides of nitrogen and particulate matter by up to 80 per cent. Please note that although operators lease or buy vehicles for specific routes, they will move vehicles of similar carrying capacity around their portfolio of services to carry out routine maintenance, refurbishments and make sure operational services remain robust.
