Thank you again for your request received by us on 3 July 2023, asking for information about an escalator at Hyde Park Corner Underground station. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You specifically asked:
Do I have any recourse against TFL ?

Our records show that escalators 1 & 3 at Hyde Park Corner station travel at 0.75 m/s, have a vertical rise of 21.79 m and are inclined at 30 degrees. These parameters are in keeping with the European Standard for Escalators, EN115.
