Dear TfL I was shown a screenshot of your response from your customer services in regards to the New Routemaster buses. It has been stated that you have made an investigation into the New Routemaster buses, as you claim they have high costs associated with them. Would you be able to publish your investigation, including reports, please? Can you publish the Equality Impact Assessment about the proposed withdrawal of the New Routemaster bus? Can you publish the Independent Disability Advisory Group minutes or reports about the proposed withdrawal of the New Routemaster bus?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 8 May 2024 asking for information about the New Routemaster buses.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. You specifically asked:

I was shown a screenshot of your response from your customer services in regards to the New Routemaster buses.
It has been stated that you have made an investigation into the New Routemaster buses, as you claim they have high costs associated with them.
Would you be able to publish your investigation, including reports, please?
Can you publish the Equality Impact Assessment about the proposed withdrawal of the New Routemaster bus?
Can you publish the Independent Disability Advisory Group minutes or reports about the proposed withdrawal of the New Routemaster bus?

We do not hold the information you have requested. There are no formal plans to withdraw the NRMs, other than when they reach the end of their design and economic life.
