Please can i request the below information relating to the Escooter trial in London.
1) Have any borough / council that are not currently participating in the trial expressed interest in joining?
1a) if yes, please can you specify whether the borough / council wish to join as: ride through only or full participation (permission to travel across the borough with parking bays provided)
2) Is there a date for expansion of the scheme to other boroughs?
3) When will more parking bays be provided in existing boroughs?
4) Have any borough / council that are currently involved in the trial expressed the desire to leave?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 16th May 2022 asking for information about the current e-scooter trial in London.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Your questions are answered in turn below:
Question 1) Have any borough / council that are not currently participating in the trial expressed interest in joining?
Answer: TfL and London Councils are conducting ongoing engagement with non-participating boroughs. We have not received any formal requests from non-participating boroughs to join to date.
Question 1a) if yes, please can you specify whether the borough / council wish to join as: ride through only or full participation (permission to travel across the borough with parking bays provided)?
Answer: See answer to Q1 above.
Question 2) Is there a date for expansion of the scheme to other boroughs?
Answer: No.
Question 3) When will more parking bays be provided in existing boroughs?
Answer: We are engaging with the participating boroughs on providing more parking bays and these are continually being added to the trial area - for example, Southwark introduced additional parking bays to the trial in May. TfL does not hold information on confirmed dates for any further parking bays.
Question 4) Have any borough / council that are currently involved in the trial expressed the desire to leave?
Answer: No.
