Thank you for your email received by us on 28 April 2017 asking for information about parking bays. I apologise for the delay in my response.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our Information Access Policy. You asked:

Please could you supply either a map or a list of all the Red Route "free parking zones" which have no restrictions on parking (for instance, the stretch of Archway Road between Talbot Road and Church Road)

TfL does not hold this information. Details of restrictions at all locations across the red route network are held within an internal asset management system. The system does not have any reporting or mapping facility that would allow us to extract a list or map of the type you have requested. Our advice to drivers is to always check the signs located in individual bays, which clearly indicate when and why vehicles are permitted to stop in that bay. We would also highlight that TfL does not charge drivers for stopping or parking on the red route.
