Dear TfL Please can you confirm if the Northern Line closure from Moorgate to Kennington is on track to reopen in mid-May as per the signs and announcements on the London Underground. Do you have an expected date? Is the work being done at Bank completed / on track to be completed in time?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 28 April 2022 asking for information about the Northern Line closure from Moorgate to Kennington.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

We are on schedule to meet the mid May date given in our recent press release which can be found here:  https://tfl.gov.uk/info-for/media/press-releases/2022/march/tfl-updates-on-progress-of-bank-station-upgrade-as-vital-closure-passes-halfway-mark. The Bank station capacity upgrade project is also on schedule to be completed in 2022 and further information on this is also available in the same press release.
