Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 14th April 2022 asking for information about road signs on Bromley Common.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“I was wondering if you could provide a map of your illuminated signs along bromley common including the side roads of Crown lane Johnson’s road Pope road Walpole road Bloomfield road And Southlands road. I’m trying to work out what you own and what LBB own as some have two sets of codes , some LBB own and some say they don’t.”
I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Please see the map attached. Note that TfL only manages about 5% of the roads in London, known as the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN) or ‘red routes’. More information about these - including maps of their location- can be found on our website here: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/red-routes We do not own or maintain assets on side roads except red route signs and lines The other, non-TLRN roads in London are managed by local boroughs.
