Thank you for your email which we received on 6 April 2023 asking for information about fatal collisions on multi carriageway roads. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm TfL does hold the information you require. You specifically asked:
- Number of fatal collisions on multi-carriageway roads (I.e more than one lane for cars and ignoring where you have a bus lane and then a single lane for other vehicles)
Road collisions data is published and available via this link. Please see ‘Road fatalities since 2019’ spreadsheet.
We don’t record if the road is multi carriageway, however you can establish that by the location detail.
