Due to the coronavirus, the following service changes will be in place until further notice:

  • No Night Tube or Night Overground service
  • The Waterloo & City line service will operate peak hours only Monday to Friday, with no service at weekends or on public holidays

Balham Until late December 2021

No down escalator service - access to platforms is via a fixed staircase only.

The station may at times have to operate as 'exit only' on weekday mornings between 07:30 and 09:30.

At these times, or if you have luggage or buggies at any time, you may find it easier to use nearby Clapham South or Tooting Bec stations

Borough Until late July 2022 Reduced lift service






East Acton Until late Dec 2021

Eastbound trains will not stop

To travel eastbound FROM East Acton, take a westbound train to North Acton and change for an eastbound service.

To travel eastbound TO East Acton, stay on the train to White City and then return to East Acton on a westbound service




Green Park Until further notice

No down escaaltor service to Jubilee lime platforms before 10:00 Mondayto Friday

Please take care as you walk down to the platform. Please use the lifts for step-free access, if you are unable to use the stairs.

At busy times we may ask you to follow an alternative route between the ticket hall and the Jubilee line. Please follow advice from staff and allow extra time for your journey.

London Bridge Until April 2022

No down escalator from the Borough High Street entrance to the Northern line platforms. For fastest access to the Northern line, please use the main Duke Street Hill entrance.


Please note that step free interchange between the Jubilee and Northern lines is partly at street level, in both directions. Lifts are available between the Northern line and Borough High Street entrance, then continue via Borough High Street, St Thomas Street and Joiner Street to the main Underground ticket hall from where lifts are available to/from the Jubilee line.












Richmond Until further notice No lift service to/from platform 1. This station is managed by South Western Railway.


South Kensington Until spring 2022

Piccadilly line trains are not stopping at South Kensington.

For travel to/from South Kensington and the museums via the Piccadilly line, use walking or bus routes to/from Gloucester Road or Knightsbridge. 

The District and Circle lines will generally be stopping as normal, however, planned track works may also affect these lines.


Tottenham Hale Until late January 2022 No step-free access




Vauxhall Monday 1 and Tuesday 2 November

No step-free access between the Tube ticket hall and Victoria line platforms

During lift maintenance work, if you require a step-free journey to Vauxhall please travel to Victoria or Brixton and use these bus services:

From Victoria: routes 2, 36, 185

From Brixton: routes 2, 196

Alternatively, use the Northern line to Nine Elms station and then take bus routes 77, 87, 196, or 452 to Vauxhall.

During this work the escalators to the Victoria line platforms and the lift between the bus station and the Tube station ticket hall will be available.
