Thank you for your request received on 26 March 2018 asking for information about the average speed cameras on the A2.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require. You asked for:

1) Could we please have accident data 1 year prior and 1 year after installation at the two locations

In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, TfL is not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.

2) Cost of the installation for the average speed cameras at the two sites
3) Revenue generated 1 year before (ie with the static speed cameras)
4) Revenue generated after 1 year of operation

We do not hold the information you have requested regarding the cost of installation and the revenue generated by the cameras. Penalty charge notices (PCNs) for speeding are issued by the police, therefore they would hold the information you have requested.
