Thank you for your request received on 17 March 2018 asking for information about private hire drivers who refused assistance dogs.
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:
 
Between February 2015 and November 2017, You have successfully prosecuted 25 minicab drivers for refusing assistance dogs. Can you provide the names of the operators the drivers were working for.
 
Contrary to the information previously available on our website, over this period we prosecuted 27 private hire drivers. Please accept our apologies for this error and the inconvenience caused. The list below details the private hire operators who accepted and allocated the requests for a private hire booking that the 27 private hire drivers were prosecuted for refusing assistance dogs. We have updated the relevant section on our website to reflect this updated information.

Please note that the operators below accepted and allocated the requests for a private hire booking to the drivers who subsequently failed or refused to carry out the bookings. Therefore, only the drivers were prosecuted in these instances.
