Would you please tell me what TfL's budget is to make repairs, upgrates and mitigate tube noise which impacts residents in property near tube lines? Also, what portion of it has been spent this fiscal year? If you have historical data for previous years please publish that as well. thank you

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20 April 2018 asking for information about TfL’s budget. I apologise for the delay in replying to you.

Your request has been processed in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you requested. You asked:

1.    What is TfL’s budget to make repairs and upgrades and separately its budget to mitigate tube noise?

Our total budget and spend against budget are all publicly available on our website http://content.tfl.gov.uk/tfl-annual-report-and-statement-of-accounts-2016-17.pdf

Within that, there are no, and hasn’t been any specific projects planned or undertaken with the sole intent of mitigating noise.

In accordance with s21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to try and supply the requested information if it is already accessible to you elsewhere.
