Further to previous request FOI-2819-1718 it's now been almost 2 months since this reply in which you stated that you were assessing how to do the repair work and still no work has started.
Can you please provide an update on the timelines of when your assessment will be completed and if known when the work is going to start?

Thank you for your request received on 14 March 2018 asking for information about the temporary speed restriction on the A40.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested as we do not have a date for when the current speed restriction will end. The 30mph restriction has been put in place to ensure the safety of all road users. We have instructed some preliminary design work to be undertaken however we do not yet have a date of when this will be completed. We will continue to carry out our inspections along this route and take any necessary mitigating action.
Please accept our apologies that we are unable to assist you further on this occasion.
