Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 28 March 2024 asking for information about buses which were re-routed to Conduit Street, in 2023. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You specifically asked if buses were re-routed by any chance between 5th February - 20th February 2023 along Conduit Street. We cannot find details of any planned diversions during the time period you have asked about that used Conduit Street as a diversion for buses. However our Network Management Control Centre (NMCC) data, which details bus diversions implemented by the NMCC shows the following incidents during the time period covered by your request:
On 5th February 2023 at about 0124hrs, Regent Street was blocked by a road traffic collision by Air Street. The diversion was cleared at 0140hrs.
There were five other incidents that may have resulted in displaced traffic using Conduit Street, but it wasn’t used by buses as a diversion.
17/2/23 1800hrs – 18/2/23 0515hrs Oxford Street was closed at Orchard Street for an event.
12/2/23 1143hrs – 17/2/23 1818hrs Oxford Street was closed between Vere Street and Orchard Street for emergency works.
14/2/23 0142hrs – 0208hrs Regent Street was blocked northbound due to an emergency services incident.
15/2/23 2200hrs – 18/2/23 0518hrs – Oxford Street was restricted at Duke Street due to a crane operation. The road was not closed.
10/2/23 0544hrs – 0550hrs – Regent Street was blocked southbound at the junction of Glasshouse Street due to a broken down vehicle.
