Can you please provide GIS data on your CTAL analysis for London? As shown in the report Strategic Cycling Analysis.

We answered

TfL Ref: FOI-4796-1718

Thank you for your email received on 8 March 2018 asking for the GIS data on our Cycling Transport Accessibility Level (CTAL) analysis for London.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our Information Access Policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.

Please find attached data relating to the CTAL map in the Strategic Cycling Analysis – page 41. This data provides further analysis than that given in the map.

This data divides London into a grid of cells at 100m intervals across London and provides the following information: The X and Y coordinates allows you to load it into a GIS.

                                                                                   

Column A - Id – grid ID

Column B - X - Easting

Column C - Y – Northing

Column D - BUS Access Index > 0 = access to bus services within 640m from this point.  

Column E - RAIL Access Index > 0 = access to rail+LU+Tram services within 960m from this point.         

Column F - PTAL – combined Access Index

Column G - Low/High PTAL

Where there is no access to Rail by Walking:

Column H - Access to at least 1 station by cycling - 1 =yes 0 = no

Column I - Access to at least more than 5 stations by cycling - 1 =yes 0 = no
