Reconsideration hearings
Request ID: FOI-4774-1718
Date published: 12 March 2018
You asked
Could you ask the person who read the 100 records if there was any reconsideration hearings relating to claims of assault of any kind.
We answered
As previously advised, upon provision of the information you requested under case reference FOI-4377-1718 you would be unable to request further information under the FOI Act for a period of sixty working days from the date of your request (12 February). This is because the information you requested was “up to the cost threshold” and you were given an explanation for what this means in accordance with Regulation 5(2) of the Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Appropriate Limits and Fees) Regulations 2004.
To provide the information you have requested below “Could you ask the person who read the 100 records if there was any claims of assault of any kind” would require us to again review those 100 records and tally up a different set of data to that previously requested.
Whilst this request would also constitute another request “up to the cost threshold”, we are not obliged to consider this request as any further requests would take you past the time allowable within the Act, which was explained thoroughly to you. Therefore, we are refusing this request under section 12 of the FOI Act.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
