Hi,
Can you provide the current number of active applications that TfL is processing in regards to 11-15 Oyster applications and 16+ Oyster applications?
Active applications: Eligible person has applied but Oyster card has not been sent out or similar if specific request not held.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 19 March 2024 asking for information about active discounted travel applications.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we holdthe information you require. You specifically asked: Can you provide the current number of active applications that TfL is processing in regards to 11-15 Oyster applications and 16+ Oyster applications? Active applications: Eligible person has applied but Oyster card has not been sent out or similar if specific request not held.
As of 10 April 2024, there were a total of 2717 applications for 11-15 and 16+ photocards that were awaiting processing before the photocard could be despatched. Please note that this data is only correct as of that date as the numbers change daily as applications are processed and new ones are received.
