Please provide the names of the organisations that were invited to tender for this project together with the report, normally called the Tender Assessment Report ("TAR"), that compares and contrasts the relative merits of each of the bidders, presents the pertinent facts and makes the recommendation to award the contract to the successful contractor. For the avoidance of doubt the "TAR" should be provided unredacted as per the Information Commissioner Office Decision Notice (Reference: FS50590945) made in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) dated 1 February 2016 against Merseytravel, a Public Authority.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17th March 2024 asking for information about the Elizabeth Line Contract C631 for Platform Screen/Edge Doors.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:

I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
Crossrail Limited issued an Invitation to Tender (ITT) on 22nd November 2013 to the following Tenderers:
• Faiveley Transport Birkenhead Ltd.; • Knorr Bremse Rail Systems (UK) Ltd.; • Singapore Technologies Electronics Ltd.
Tenders were received and opened from the three tenderers on 7th April 2014. Please find attached the Contract Award Recommendation Report, which we believe is the equivalent of the “Tender Assessment Report” you cite in your request. Note that any signatures have been removed under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act, the exemption that protects against the unfair release of personal data.
